Zamboni Driver

Overview:

The Lovell Companies include Lovell Academy, a boarding school for elite hockey student athletes, as well as Lovell Arena, a start of the art ice hockey arena, recreation center and restaurant.

The Lovell Arena is recruiting for a Zamboni Driver.

Main Responsibilities:

· Ice making is the primary function is to run the given ice schedule.

· Signal the end of practice groups at the correct time.

· Collect rental fees for all groups.

· Prepare and operate the Zamboni.

· Maintain all facilities within and around the buildings in proper operating condition.

· Make sure all areas used by the public are kept clean and checked regularly- this includes bathrooms, locker rooms, locker room showers, player’s benches.

· Make sure all trash gets emptied when full. All trash must be emptied at night.

· Keep stairs, entrances, and emergency exits clear of snow during storms and sand slippery areas.

Qualifications:

· 2-5 Years experience preferred working in ice rink operations.

· Must have Driver's License, and reliable transportation.

· Night and Weekend Shifts
