Information on officials training will be provided upon application review. Training dates will be in prior to the season starting. Attendance will be mandatory. Specific sports experience is not required but is preferred.
Games take place on Saturdays, Sept-May at various parks and gymnasiums in Kirkland. Full day shifts available upon request and/or staff needs. Hours are flexible, the AM or PM time slot is negotiable, and staff will be assigned on an as needed basis. - Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills are required.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public to acknowledge both compliments and complaints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated good judgement in problem solving and responding to customer needs.
- Proficiency in standard computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite applications Word, Excel and Outlook
Minimum Qualifications
Must be age 15 or older. Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification by start date. Applicants who are offered a position must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.
Work Conditions & Physical Activities
Gymnasium (indoor) work which requires ability to run and keep alert in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Work is performed off-site in one of our community parks or a Lake Washington School District facility with high noise levels and seasonal temperature extremes.
