WE ARE SEEKING RELIABLE AND ENTHUSIASTIC AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM AIDES TO JOIN OUR TEAM! AS AN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM AIDE, YOU WILL PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN SUPPORTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF OUR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM CURRICULUM AND ENSURING THE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF THE STUDENTS.

TheBasics:
- ROLE: YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL
- PROGRAM HOURS: 2:00 PM -6:00 PM
- LOCATION: MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT
- SCHEDULE: PART TIME | UP TO 30 HOURS PER WEEK
- COMPETITIVE PAY: $20- $25/hr
TheRole:
- ASSIST WITH PLANNING AND LEADING EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENT IN GRADES K-6.
- PROVIDE HOMEWORK HELP AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT TO STUDENTS AS NEEDED
- ENSURE THE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF ALL STUDENTS AT ALL TIMES.
- MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED PROGRAM AREA
- COMMUNICATE REGULARLY WITH PARENTS AND GUARDIANS REGARDING THEIR CHILD’S PROGRESS
- ATTEND STAFF MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSIONS AS REQUIRED.
Requirements
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
- 0-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN GRADES K-6TH
- POSITIVE CAN-DO ATTITUDE
- FLEXIBLE AND RELIABLE
- LIVE SCAN BACKGROUND CHECK
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements; Finger print LIVE SCAN, CPR/FA, Medical Certificate/TB test, Mandated Reporter training
