WHO MAKES A GOOD FIT?
Boys & Girls Clubs is looking for energetic, passionate, and creative individuals who are committed to serving youth in the surrounding community. Youth Development Professionals will plan and lead engaging programs for roughly 15 youth. Past experience working with youth is beneficial. This could include babysitting, coaching, or youth instruction.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Our children, otherwise known as our members, range in age of PreK-12th grade. The age range you work with will depend on which of our 17 locations you are working at. Boys & Girls Clubs of Central MN has Club locations in Waite Park, St. Cloud, St. Joseph, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearview, and Little Falls. It is likely there is a location near you which makes getting to work convenient.
This is a part time, non-exempt position with a good amount of hours you can count on. The schedule is typically M-F, however Boys & Girls Clubs is happy to work with individuals who can only work one or two days out of the week as well.
More than 25 nationally tested and proven programs are available in the areas of education, the environment, health, the arts, careers, drug and alcohol prevention, leadership development, and athletics. These programs address today’s most pressing youth issues teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life.
The Boys & Girls Club offers life-changing, part-time and full-time opportunities working with youth in a variety of ways - from social recreation, to arts & crafts, to academics. You'll help kids grow and discover ordinary and amazing things about themselves and the world around them.
