Lighthouse Youth & Family Services is looking for YOU!
We are seeking a full-time Youth Worker I – 3rd Shift Worker at our Paint Creek Youth Center located in Bainbridge, Ohio (easy commuting distance from Hillsboro, Chillicothe, Waverly and Washington CH.) This treatment center is a 24/7 residential facility for adolescent males. We are looking for individuals to work our 3rd Shift (8 hours/40 hours a week – 11 pm – 7 am).
Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00
.Essential Functions:
- Coach, encourage and support individuals for greater social inclusion.
- Responsible for being aware of youth whereabouts while maintaining a safe and productive environment at all times.
- Facilitate problem solving with the youth.
- Assist in providing structured group activities/functions when necessary.
- Provide transportation to and from various program activities.
- Provide and maintains quality documentation, record, reports and evaluations per agency standards.
- Comply with agency, federal and state policies, procedures and regulations.
- Attend regular training and development opportunities to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and local policy developments.
- Actively participate on one or more of the following teams: Medical, Supply, Filing, and Cleaning.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in social services, juvenile justice and/or residential care a plus
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
