Youth Activities Attendant (On-Call)

In this role, you will be responsible for running member events and activities; this includes, but is not limited to, youth events, youth day camps, hourly play, family nights, and holiday events, all while providing our members exceptional customer service and a world-class experience.

The ideal candidate will have prior childcare or babysitting experience, 1-3 years of experience working with children, and customer service. Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Youth Activities Department in operations. This includes, but is not limited to, supervising, working one-on-one, and providing instruction to the children through various activities.
• Ensure children are learning positive behaviors by providing guidance and being a positive role model.
• Main responsibilities are to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing memorable youth and family-friendly programming, and maintain a safe, fun, elegant, and professional atmosphere.
• Maintain a safe workplace and environment by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues, and reporting concerns to staff, promptly.
• Develop and encourage age-appropriate learning and socialization skills to ensure children understand basic concepts such as communication, manners, sharing, and other skills.
• Provide exceptional customer service to create memorable and unique experiences this includes the use of name recognition.
• When requested, will assist with outdoor adventures, ranch, bocce ball, croquet, winter sports, and lifestyle programming as necessary.
• Continuously monitor and “walk the member experience” to ensure the Sonoran Clubhouse, is recognized as a world-class facility.
• Assist all departments within Sonoran as needed and serve as an active team member; understand how each department operates to help during peak business times.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
