TITLE:Yoga Program Supervisor
LOCATION:Snowbird Resort, Cliff Spa
STATUS:Hourly, Part-time

SUMMARY
Work and play up in the mountains! Snowbird is looking for a Yoga Supervisor to work in one of the most picturesque mountain destinations in Utah. Under the direction of the Assistant Spa Director, you will take the Cliff Spa yoga program to the next level by staffing and training knowledgeable yoga instructors. You will work with the Spa Director and Assistant Spa Director on new projects pertaining to the yoga program, and provide information and schedules to the front desk supervisors and yoga instructors to ensure the department runs efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Personnel - Hire, train and motivate all yoga instructors. Oversee new hire orientation for the yoga program.
- Training - Development of training materials to ensure consistency, quality, and safety of classes. Organize education and training workshops for instructors.
- Mentor - Lead by example, helping to ensure great customer service with consistency.
- Product Development - Develops new classes to keep the yoga program current and competitive. Works with spa management to develop and carry out marketing projects and special events.
- Inventory - Oversees inventory of yoga program supplies. Identify supply needs and research new backbar and retail yoga products.
- Staff Schedule - Assist in drawing up staff schedules, working with time off requests/sick leave.
- Miscellaneous - Management may require additional projects, duties, media, and special event appearances.
- Responsible for keeping the Yoga Studio clean, safe & organized.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- High school degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years active teaching experience.
- Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification required, 500-hour certification preferred.
- Organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Part-time position.
- Specific schedule will depend on business levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent guest contact.
- Direct supervision of Cliff Spa yoga instructors.
- Internal contact with spa management and staff, and communication with various Snowbird departments.
