Position Overview
The Yoga Teacher is a member of a multidisciplinary team that uses their training and knowledge in yoga to plan and lead yoga groups for clients receiving eating disorder treatment.
Schedule
This is a Part Time,0.3-0.5 FTE (12-20 hours/week) position
Monday-Friday 3:30-6pm and additional coverage as needed
How Yoga Instructors Empower Recovery
- Responsible for planning and leading yoga groups for clients with eating disorders in residential setting
- Maintain and enhances knowledge of current yoga practice through self-study and CEU opportunities.
- Participate in monthly yoga teacher meetings
- Attend annual training for yoga teachers
- Maintaining an organized and clean environment for yoga practice, as well as maintaining and managing yoga supplies for the site
Qualifications
- 200 RYT certification minimum required
- Maintain certification through Yoga Alliance
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Additional training in trauma-sensitive or trauma-informed yoga preferred
