Position: Child Watch Attendant Salary: $12.00
About the Job
The Child Watch Attendant position reports to the Program Director. The Child Watch Attendant is responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in the YMCA Child Watch Program. This is a program to provide babysitting services while individuals workout in the fitness center. We are looking for staff to work weekends & evenings.
Schedule: Monday - Friday mornings and afternoon/evening shifts, Saturday - Sundays mornings and afternoon/evenings shifts available.
Some of the exciting tasks you will do as a Child Watch Attendant include but are not limited to:
- Opens and closes Child Watch room as required
- Continually plays and interacts with the children while they are in your care
- Is courteous and greets the parents/guardians who come into Child Watch
- Enforces safety regulations
- Cleans toys and equipment daily
- Has parents sign-in and sign-out, and collects appropriate number of coupons
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Clear the local jurisdiction requirements for criminal background and/or fingerprinting
