Youth Conservation Corps has been affiliated with the Lake County Forest Preserve District since 1974. Our Summer Program members perform service projects at preserve sites throughout Lake County. Projects have included removal of invasive plant species, creating boardwalks, constructing rustic fencing, planting native plants and restoration of historic sites.
Member Duties : Crew Members will perform a variety of tasks at forest preserve sites throughout Lake County. Projects include removal of invasive plant species, creating boardwalks, constructing rustic fencing, planting native plants and restoration of historic sites.
