Founded in 1957, Raymond Building Supply supplies specialty building materials to customers across southwest Florida, operating multiple locations in the state, including custom millwork, wall panel and truss manufacturing facilities. Raymond's operations also include Jones Lumber, with locations in Boca Raton and Fort Pierce, and LouMac Distributors in Fort Myers.
Raymond Building Supply, a Division of USLBM is seeking Full Time Yard and Warehouse Associates to join our newest location located at 500 McKean St. Auburndale, FL 33823 within our Lumber Department.
Raymond Building Supply, a division of U.S. LBM, is one of the largest specialty building materials distributors in the United States operating a network of leading specialty building material distributors across the county with operating locations in 29 states.
Between $31,200 - $48,620 annually depending on overtime. Any additional overtime hours are between 5-10 hours and paid time and a half.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM to 3:30PM with occasional Saturdays. Home every night.
The position itself is paid hourly, paid on a weekly basis, with full time hours and overtime opportunity

How you will spend your day as a Yard Warehouse Laborer?

• Pull materials from racks, units or other storage areas to prepare for pick up or shipping
• Organize material in a manner to best ensure it arrives safe and undamaged
• Remove building materials from units and place boards in rack, according to grade and length
• Remove defective and/or damaged material from racks for cut-back
• Assist customer or drivers with loading
• Maintain good working relationship with customers, fellow employees and management
• Maintain the appearance of the yard and racks in an orderly and clean manner focusing on the area
• Unload and load - heavy lifting daily

What we look for in a candidate:

• Able to work hard in a laborious environment lifting between 75lbs to 150lbs
• Motivated and trainable
• Punctual to work and communicates to team and supervisor
• Pass pre-employment background, and drug screenings
• Highly preferred: if you have previous yard warehouse experience and/or building material knowledge
