Description
LURIN is seeking a dynamic and experienced Yardi Implementation Manager and Administrator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation, subsequent management, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Yardi system. Yardi supports our multifamily property management and property accounting function (and in the future potentially our asset management, job cost/redevelopment and investor relations functions). This will include collaborating with various departments to ensure the effective use of Yardi Solutions and its alignment with our business objectives. This role is critical in ensuring that our Yardi application and ecosystem are optimized to meet the needs of our business stakeholders and end-users.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Real Estate Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing Yardi systems
  • Experience implementing the Yardi platform in the multifamily space required
  • Yardi Certified Professional (YCP) certification preferred

Essential Job Functions:
2024 Yardi Implementation Project
  • Contribute full time to the 2024 implementation of the Yardi platform at LURIN, collaborating with an external implementation consulting team and internal cross-functional teams
  • Provide expert guidance on Yardi functionalities, customization options, and best practices for efficient property management / property accounting processes
  • Help develop and deliver end user training on and support adoption of the platform as part of the transition to Yardi
  • Help document and maintain user manuals, configuration guides and associated business process flow

Yardi Management and Configuration
  • Manage the day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of Yardi and its ecosystem of applications
  • Ensure the system is optimized for performance, reliability, and usability

System Optimization
  • Continuously assess and optimize Yardi system performance and functionality
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline operations
  • Collaborate with IT and Yardi support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Data Management
  • Manage data migration and integration efforts, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data within the Yardi system
  • Develop and maintain data interfaces with external systems
  • Generate reports and analytics from Yardi data to support decision making processes

Innovation and Roadmap Management
  • Develop and manage the innovation roadmap for the Yardi ecosystem
  • Stay updated with the latest Yardi features and industry trends to ensure our system remains cutting-edge

Steering Committee Leadership
  • Lead and maintain a steering committee with business stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Facilitate regular meetings to gather feedback, prioritize initiatives, and communicate system changes and updates

Integration and Enhancement
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of integrations between Yardi and other business systems
  • Lead report development team, manage system customizations, and enhancements based on business needs

Vendor Relationship Management
  • Maintain relationships with Yardi vendors and stay informed about updates, patches, and new features
  • Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades and enhancements

Help Desk Management
  • Oversee the smooth operation of help desk tickets related to Yardi and related applications
  • Coordinate with the IT support team (whether internal or external) to ensure timely resolution of issues and user concerns

Backlog Maintenance
  • Own and maintain a backlog of business system project initiatives
  • Prioritize projects based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic alignment

Compliance and Security
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data security standards
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data stored in Yardi applications

Success Factors/Job Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of multifamily property management operations, property accounting, asset management and property renovations/development
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Robust knowledge of Yardi software and its various modules
  • Proficiency in database management and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and provide user support
  • Demonstrated capability to manage third-party support of Yardi (future)
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
