YARDI APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Naperville, IL (Hybrid)

A mid-size privately held and institutionally focused real estate investment and property management firm is seeking a highly skilled Yardi Support Specialist to join our team at Marquette Management. As a Yardi Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees who utilize the Yardi property management software. Your expertise in Yardi software, combined with your exceptional problem-solving skills, will help ensure the smooth operation and efficient implementation of Yardi software across our organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Support:

  • Administer Yardi database, create and maintain users, user/property/menu-based security, scheduled reports, custom menus, and workflows.
  • Custom reporting using SQL scripting and Excel/YSR.
  • Onboard and offboard properties within Yardi and other software integrations.
  • Manage data interface vendors and integrations, including utility management, revenue management, and other technology as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT team and Yardi Client Central to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Manage and document Yardi Voyager, CRM, Rent Café, or other 3rd party integration software support tickets from both Corporate and On-Site teams.
  • Test and implement new Yardi modules and 3rd party integrations.
  • Provide technical support where needed, addressing issues, and ensuring seamless operation of software applications.

Application Expertise:

  • Be the in-house expert on software applications, with a primary focus on Yardi Voyager/CRM/Aspire, RealPage, and other relevant applications.
  • Provide guidance and support to corporate and on-site teams in utilizing these applications effectively.
  • Investigate issues within current software systems and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to implement changes that enhance the overall efficiency of business operations.
  • Lead or support various technology initiatives, including the implementation of new leasing, operations, or corporate technology.
  • Help manage relationships with software vendors, ensuring timely updates, patches, and support for critical applications.

Project Management:

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and experience to effectively lead or assist in technology projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
  • Good communication skills to interact with a diverse group of co-workers
  • Proactive approach to identifying and exploring new technologies that could benefit the organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Yardi experience, including Administration and setup.
  • Experience with Voyager 7S, PayScan, RentCafe, YSR is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and database management (SQL preferred).
  • Proficiency in custom reporting using SQL scripting and Excel/YSR.
