Summary: The Materials Yard Assistant is responsible to assist the Yard Foreman with all material inventory, pulling material for various projects, keeping the equipment and site facilities clean, neat and orderly, including maintenance of all property buildings and grounds. This position will utilize a computer system for daily time, product shipping, receiving, transfers and monitoring the company wide inventory. The Materials Yard Assistant will support the Yard Foreman to assure that materials and equipment for projects are available, safe and staged in advance for each project.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: An interest in construction, construction equipment, scheduling, material inventory, storage and delivery. Construction field experience is desired, but years of pertinent experience will also be considered.
