We are currently interviewing for two Shipping Department Assistants and are looking to fill these positions as soon as possieble. These are newly created positions due to the continued growth of our company.Thre is 1 available position on each of the following shifts:

Day shift:

8 hour shift / 7 am-3 pm / Monday-Friday / 5 days a week

Afternoon shift:

10 hour shift / 3 pm-1 am / Monday-Thurs / 4 days a week

Must be flexible on weekend hours. Although not often, they may be required on occassion.

• Can start immediately
• Pay is $16/hr to start, going to $18/hr in 90 days, and $19/hr at end of first year

Requirements:

• Must be able to do the physical requirements of the job, which will entail working out in the shipping yard with frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling
• Must be at least 18 years old
• No experience is required, but manufacturing experience of shipping & receiving a plus
• Must have reliable transportation to work
• Will train on safe operation of industrial equipment as needed
• Must be capable of reading a tape measure and performing basic math
• Steel toe boots required; all other PPE provided
• Must have clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
• Pre-employment physical and drug screening administered.

Forklift experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
