- Operates truck moving trailers from loading dock to assigned area, moving chicken trailers from holding sheds to unloading area, and moving trailers both full and empty onto the truck scale to confirm weight of product.
- Comply with written plant policies.
- Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
- Avoid any accidents damaging animals, property or persons.
Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.
Abnormal situation would be:
Product tampering
Willful product adulteration
Unauthorized employees in restricted areas
Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring
Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake
Physical Demands:
- Sitting 90% of the workday while operating lift truck.
- Unlatching chicken crate binders.
- Ability to judge distance (depth perception) and see area behind and in front of truck and trailer.
- Gripping hand controls or steering devices throughout 8-hour workday.
