Yard Operations Associate

The Yard Operations Associate does physical labor at the retail stores. They may prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. Yard Operations Associate may also run some types of equipment such as a front-end loader or truck.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• shoveling; raking; picking up trash; watering; operating a power saw to cut timber, railroad ties, and rebar; other miscellaneous job functions to maintain sales yard in an orderly fashion. The Yard Operations Associateis expected to help customers with loading materials (such as stones, boulders, bricks, edging, railroad ties, timbers, sand bags, cement bags, etc.) as requested or directed by the retail sales office.
• Typical working conditions: frequent exposure to rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, cold, noise, and other conditions common to pits and commercial / residential construction sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Background in construction, landscaping a plus
• Must be 18 years of age
