Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver yard tractors and other vehicles to move trailers, containers, and equipment within the yard, while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-use inspections of trailers and equipment, documenting any damages or issues and promptly reporting them.
- Maintain accurate records of trailer movements, ensuring proper documentation and open communication with supervisors and team members.
- Collaborate with various departments, including warehouse, logistics, and transportation, to efficiently manage the flow of trailers and equipment.
- Regularly inspect yard equipment for proper functioning and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the yard, including trash removal and general upkeep, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Provide support to other team members and departments as necessary, fostering strong teamwork and camaraderie.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating yard tractors or similar equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time.
