Southern California Spine and Joint Institute is looking for a part-time x-ray technician to perform an 8-hour shift 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Turns on and warms up all technical components of the C-arm machine and all associated computers and workstations
- Operate C-arm for pain management, spinal and orthopedic procedures
- Sets up equipment and room as needed for exam, and makes sure equipment is properly cleaned and stored after each exam
- Effectively operates C-Arm to produce quality image for surgeon to review and prints films as requested
- Demonstrate proper alignment of the C-Arm for procedure for interventional pain procedures
- Ensure patient stability status post procedure prior to mobilization
- Perform monitoring of radiofrequency during patient treatment
