Description:
Bio Recovery Group is a leading national player in the crime scene cleanup and biohazard remediation industry. With a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compassion, we come through for customers in need by cleaning and remediating environments contaminated by events such as suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, hoarding, accidents, and similar situations.
Our business is booming, and we are looking to add a dedicated office-only Xactimate Claims Coordinator to our team. The person in this role is responsible for taking all the information (photos, documents, etc.) they receive from our Crime Scene Cleanup Technicians in the field and using that information to accurately estimate and invoice our biohazard cleanup projects to insurance companies using the Xactimate software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently use Xactimate software to bill insurance companies for our cleanup jobs.
- Communicate and follow-up with our cleanup technicians about the specifics of the job to make sure that our invoices are thorough, accurate, and well-documented.
- Help to train our cleanup technicians on how to accurately and thoroughly document our projects to ensure the company is fully compensated.
- Engage with our insurance company payers to explain our invoices, answer their questions, and advocate for the company to be fully compensated.
- Demonstrate empathy and respect for the emotions of clients facing difficult situations.
Qualifications:
- Xactimate billing software experience: 2 years (Required)
- Remediation and Restoration industry experience: 2 years (Required)
- Intermediate computer and math skills
- Effective written and oral communication
- IICRC certifications a plus.
- This is not a remote position – must live in the area.
