To make an impact as a wound and ostomy RN at UF Health Shands, you will:
Collaborate with the primary nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and alterations in wound, ostomy and skin integrity.
Participate in health care interventions when necessary to achieve optimal patient care.
Provide direct patient care and education to patients and serve as a resource and educator to the staff nurse.
Ensure the patient and their family (or others significant to the patient) are included in care and treatment plans when possible.
To achieve excellence in this full-time role, we’re looking for:
Dynamic and well-rounded candidates with a current RN license in the state of Florida.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
At least three years of nursing experience with relevant clinical experience.
A professional nursing board certification in wound and ostomy is required within two years of employment or eligibility date.
