7N Salary Pay Range for This Position:
$25.52 - $40.83 POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides PC and printer hardware and software support to headquarters and branch users. Assist with network projects, network cable management, and maintain spare equipment inventory. Perform preventive maintenance on PCs and peripheral equipment.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for PC and printer support.
Maintain PC software, for example, software updates and upgrades for Kelly Blue book and McAffee antivirus software etc.
Responsible for cable management and the house keeping and troubleshooting of cabling related problems.
Setup of remote connectivity for car sales and telecommuters.
Maintain spare equipment inventory.
Assist with network projects and network troubleshooting.
Provide Help Desk support to resolve PC or printer problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Education and one to two years hands on experience required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic PC and printer troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Windows 95, 98, Windows NT 4.0 workstation and Windows 2000, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and a team player that can follow directions.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
