Workplace Violence Prevention Nurse Educator

We are seeking a special individual with a strong Nurse Educator/trainer background to join our leadership team and help us with:

• Instructional design (i.e., adult-learning-focused curriculum, courseware, and online on-demand course development)
• Program implementation and sustainment (e.g., project management of enterprise-wide content licenses)
• Virtual and onsite instructor-led training of both verbal and physical conflict management tactics for both client trainers and end users
• Capabilities presentations to potential customers led by a member of our sales team where you would serve as a Workplace Violence and conflict management expert
• Ongoing initiative to formulate empirical-research-based best practices for conflict prevention and the reduction and management of conflict, crisis, and physical violence

Requirements:

• Strong passion for our vision: "To make the world safer by teaching everyone how to treat each other with dignity by showing respect and increasing their confidence in managing conflict, crisis, and physical violence"
• Exceptional track record as a Nurse Educator, with previous experience in a high-conflict nursing role (e.g., ED, behavioral health, intensive care)
• Academic credentials in nursing education
• Knowledge and understanding of The Joint Commission Workplace Violence Prevention requirements
• Leadership interest, experience, and abilities

• Excellent project management, training, presentation, and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to support working with a diverse team, both internal and external to the company
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable and proficient in using online systems (e.g., virtual training, customer relationship management, training management, surveys)
• Ability to travel within the US up to 12 weeks per year
• Ability to demonstrate and train both verbal and physical tactics

• Headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, but the company operates 100% virtually with communication via phone, Zoom, and Google Suite
• Strong leadership position in our industry, with many flagship accounts (e.g., Kaiser Permanente)
• Primary target market is healthcare and behavioral health, but we also work with education, social services, hospitality, customer service, transit, and public safety
