Form of workAt Meta, Mission Control is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning, management, and headcount allocations for all of Meta. In this role, our team helps the business proactively drive their priorities aligned to the strategies of our human resources, recruiting, and finance departments. Further, they manage the day-to-day operations of headcount management across Meta.We are looking for a Workforce Solutions Analyst to drive operational efficiency, improve data-driven decision-making, and support the overall success of the organization. The role will involve using data analysis and visualization techniques to support day-to-day operations, identifying trends, gaps, and insights from various sources, and working cross-functionally with business partners. Excellent communication and prioritization skills are required.
- Work with data infrastructure, program management, and process teams to triage data-quality issues and drive long-term improvement
- Perform deep-dive analyses to answer questions and deliver insights on the root causes of issues and make recommendations on how to best monitor and meet them
- Analyze and report metrics on systems activities, user behavior, etc. to support decision-making initiatives, ongoing measurement, and continuous improvement
- Design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and their permissions
- provide technical support for system integrations
- Establish and maintain data governance processes and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Build business process automation to support and scale the work of our internal team and XFN partners
- Provide day-to-day operational support for our organization (e.g., processing bulk changes, triaging system bugs, etc.) and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance
- Create operational efficiencies through centralized administration such as process workflows, data auditing, access and permission controls, etc.
- Document and maintain operational runbooks and playbooks
- Monitoring performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and adjust as needed
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, translate complex findings and data in a compelling narrative for audiences of both technical and non-technical audience
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy especially in times of rapid turn-around needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a data or business analyst, or similar role
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, R, VBA and/or similar programming language
- 3+ years of developing automation solutions with programming experience including designing, testing, and documenting solutions
- Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
- Proven communication skills to collaborate effectively cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with more than one coding language
- Experience with Apps Script, HTML, CSS, and/or similar programming language
- Experience with data management, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple systems
- Experience delivering full-lifecycle analytics projects including requirement gathering, data collection, data cleansing, analysis, visualization, QA/QC, permissions and deployment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and applying creativity to solve complex problems
