The Role
The Site Workforce Development Clerk is responsible for the documentation and tracking of all apprenticeship, craft, and supervisory training that occurs on the assigned site. This includes coordination and scheduling NCCER training sessions; support the identification and recruitment of qualified instructors; requisitioning training materials and equipment; collection and submittal of training data to the Site Workforce Development Manager; and administration of training records and reports. The Site Workforce Development Clerk will attend all required staff meetings; and will provide support to the Site Workforce Development Manager and Coordinators.
The ideal Site Workforce Development Clerk will maintain processes, procedures, and documentation for designated apprenticeship program components. Our apprentices gain hands-on training as they evolve towards becoming journey-level craft professionals in their given area of focus. We're looking for a candidate who is highly organized, has superior analytical and communication skills, and is self-starting.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the apprenticeship program, in collaboration with the Site Workforce Development Manager. This includes adhering to the Standards of Apprenticeship for training programs, including on-the-job learning (OJL), related technical instruction (RTI) that meets state and federal Registered Apprenticeship Guidelines.
- Maintain integrity of all training programs NCCER, Worley-specific, and client specifications
- Management and facilitation of the learning resources
- Document control and reporting related to training and certification activities
- Support train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session

Skills
- This position needs to have excellent administrative skills and ability to multitask to manage reporting, documentation, paperwork.
- Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills; and should be organized, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
Technology / Software
- This position must have, or be willing to quicky learn, a complete knowledge of the Registered Apprenticeship system, new program development and RAPIDS (Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Database System) system maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Workforce Development systems, processes, and tools. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and web delivery tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Education / Experience
- Knowledge of Registered Apprenticeship and NCCER policies/procedures will be given special consideration.
- It is recommended that the applicant have 2 years' work experience; a Training Clerk, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role, preferably with exposure to the learning and development of Construction/Maintenance Personnel.
