Workers Compensation Defense Attorney (Hybrid)

We are seeking a New York Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our quickly growing practice located in Paramus, New Jersey!
The job will entail representing carriers and third party administrators in all phases of litigation. Any applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with Workers' Compensation claims and litigation in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Appear for hearings at the New York Workers' Compensation court (currently, all hearings are being conducted virtually).
• Attend telephonic depositions with medical providers
• Prepare and draft appeals and summation briefs
• Research applicable areas of Workers' Compensation law

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be licensed in New York (NJ License is a plus)
• 2+ years experience in NY Workers' Compensation litigation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent writing, researching, negotiating and verbal communication skills are crucial.
