Job Requirements

Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire a Workday HCM Architect. In this role, you will serve as the Workday system subject matter expert and primary contact for day-to-day support of Workday Enterprise Management business processes, integrations, reporting, and dashboards to ensure consistent and high-quality business operations. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Administer and maintain Workday HCM system configuration, security, business processes, and integrations. 
  • Be a key liaison between many internal customers, including but not limited to IT, HR, Accounting, and Compliance. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Workday system requirements adhering to Workday best practices, including data governance, security, and compliance. 
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation to support business operations and decision-making. 
  • Manage and coordinate testing, deployment, and maintenance of system updates and enhancements. 
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Workday by conducting regular audits and data analysis. 
  • Respond quickly to complex situations that arise, resolve technical system issues, while also making recommendations for improvements along the way. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Proven experience as a Workday HCM Architect or similar role. 
  • Experience with Workday HCM implementation. 
  • Solid understanding of HCM processes and concepts, and general HR operations and compliance. 
  • Workday Pro certification in one or more tracks. 
  • Proficiency in Workday security and role-based permissions management. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven record of accomplishment of effectively interfacing, training, and presenting information to multiple levels of an organization. 
  • Experience with Workday integrations, including web services, EIBs, and connectors. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
