The Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst supports the administration, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our Workday HCM platform. This role is responsible for supporting and configuring changes in Workday, advanced reporting, analytics, business process and integrations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the Workday system aligns with our HR and business processes, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our HR systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Supports Workday HCM system, including user setup, data integration, reporting, and system configuration.
  • Develops advanced reports, including creating calculated fields and maintaining dashboards, to provide accurate data, analytics and insights to the HR team and the organization.
  • Analyzes the impact of Workday's bi-annual updates and helps test and configure new functionality.
  • Identifies test scenarios, develops test scripts, and provides support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during new module implementation or enhancements to ensure system configuration accuracy and functionality.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Workday-related and other HR Technology inquiries and issues from team members and leaders.
  • Supports functional area process configurations and configures Workday HCM workstreams to align with HR policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Designs and implements appropriate system configurations and business processes, while ensuring data accuracy and optimizing system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Works with IT to troubleshoot and resolve application and integration related incidents and problems.
  • Assists with external vendor service requests to resolve data integrity issues, vendor interface file enhancements, etc. and maintains and documents HR system changes for regulatory compliance needs. Ensures compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements related to Workday usage and data management.
  • Provides daily functional support to HR Workday users in configuring, testing and updating workstreams as needed. This includes the performance management process, merit planning, benefits open enrollment, talent calibration and more as needed.
  • Stays current with Workday releases, trends, and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for system optimization and process improvements.
  • Assists with the quarterly user access audit as developed by IT.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with Workday HCM with hands-on configuration experience in areas such as security, report writing, HCM, payroll, benefits, recruiting, absence, and/or time tracking.
  • Hands-on business process and/or security policy configuration experience with Workday HCM.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating calculated fields for reports and system configuration.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Workday Pro Certification in Workday HCM and/or one other module is highly desirable.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
  • Outstanding project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR data.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to provide timely follow-up and resolution on projects and tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Office environment - no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands and employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position requires more than 80% computer use.
COMPENSATION
The current salary range for this position is $74,932.01 to $126,367.76. This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate; including experience, education, and location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
