We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a Virtual School contract position. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a flexible and dynamic environment while making a positive impact on students' lives. Clinical and technical teletherapy training, virtual therapy and assessment materials, and clinical support will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Virtual School SLP, you will be responsible for providing online speech and language therapy services to students from the comfort of your own home. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address students' communication needs
- Providing direct therapy services via video conferencing platforms
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor students' progress
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participating in virtual meetings, conferences, and professional development activities as required
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Virtual School SLP position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Prior experience working as an SLP in a school or virtual setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge and understanding of various speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Technological proficiency and ability to navigate virtual therapy platforms
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace
