Location / Hours:
This is a remote position with all equipment needed provided by C&H. Candidates must have sufficient internet connection/speeds. The hours of the position can be either fulltime or part time, but candidates must be able to work on Saturdays as part of their schedule. Candidates also need to live in CT in order to be able to train in one of our 4 office locations and report to an office in the event of a power outage or internet issue at their home.
Job Summary / Purpose:
After Hours Care Coordinators are responsible for coordinating the daily schedules for assigned caregivers and clients on the Medicaid side. This role will ensure that all shifts are staffed appropriately and will work to drive high-quality service to our caregivers and the clients they support. After Hours Care Coordinators are also responsible for ensuring that the caregiver experience is supported at every step. This will include trouble-shooting caregiver inquiries and concerns, compliance, ongoing training and coaching as appropriate.
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent years of training or work experience
- One (1) year of scheduling experience in a health care setting using an online scheduling system is preferred
- Proven organizational skills and detail orientation
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel
- Ability to understand and speak some Spanish is a plus
