Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Work Control Planner in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Responsible for developing work packages using Navarro-ATL Work Control Processes and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for corrective maintenance, modification, fabrication, select operational activities, expense-based project construction of 222-S Laboratory structures/systems/components. Applies knowledge of Work Control Planner principles and practices in assignments and related work.
Responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities of the Work Control Planner include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Under general supervision, review planning processes for efficiency and make recommendations to management.
- Prepares and/or verifies accuracy of work orders and work activity schedules.
- Under oversight by more senior planning personnel, conducts planning meetings and provides planning status to project schedules.
- Prepares, tracks, and controls work orders required to accomplish assigned activities.
- Reviews and analyzes work documents for proper classification, priority, and description.
- Prepares work documents in accordance with Work Control standards and procedures.
- Assists in the development of work orders for straightforward work activities.
- Supports and tracks material requisition.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) and 2 year of practical work experience in maintenance, construction, work planning, or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and maintenance planning required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) and 3 years of practical work experience in maintenance, construction, work planning, or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Maintenance or construction experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of planning at Hanford, a national laboratory, or at a Category 3 Nuclear Facility is desired.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
Grade 14: $69,413 - $87,538
Grade 15: $76,338 - $96,313
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
