As a Woodward Park Private Coach at Woodward/BRC are our freestyle focused coaches who teach both indoor and outdoor lessons focused on arial awerness, jump progrssions, and rail progressions. Along with that they are Passionate People who make our Innovative Environments accessible to our guests and bring our Dynamic Programming to life!
WWT Park PVT Coaches understand they are teaching a unique lesson and that experience begins as soon as the guest arrives. Instructors Play Safe by understanding, upholding, and bringing awareness to the NSAA Responsibility Code, BRC Skiing and Riding Policies, and Own Their Zone by ensuring Snowsport/Bunker zones are properly set up and taken down each day, as well as communicate any grooming requests. WWT Park PVT Coaches are role models for our skiers and snowboarders interested in progressing their park/freestyle skills and uphold WW/BRC policies, procedures, and values, leading by example to ensure the highest industry standards are being met in every aspect of our operation.

More Information:
Essential Functions Major Responsibilities:

• Primary focus is teaching Private Freestyle lesson.
• Will have opportunities to coach other (Indoor) Woodward private lessons.
• Set-up and take-down Meeting Areas and Learning Zones, teaching tools, animations.
• Excellent Guest Service, clear communication, friendly and welcoming
• Effective lessons deliveries to all types of guests Technical Skills
• Expert or strong ability to ski or snowboard.
• Has arial skill on skis or snowboard.
• Experience working with children / athletes / people.
• Able and willing to teach other lesson/ help in other departments when lessons do not exist.
• Develop strong understanding of lesson procedures and progressions by attending training clinics and seeking professional development and certifications Additional.
• Takes indoor and outdoor progrssion training seriousl and is committed to keeping learnes safe.
• Lead by example!

What we are looking for:

• Sets the standards for a safe working environment and behavior for the department.
• Follows the Safety Policies and Procedures as outlined in the Department Safety Manual.
• Takes direction from the Safety Committee on approved safety issues.
• Ensures safety messages are communicated to department staff by attending weekly Safety Meetings (topics are provided or can be substituted with a topic more suited to the department) and given to Human Resource for tracking.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
