Pediatrix is seeking to add a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to our Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in Melbourne, FL.
Located on east central Florida's Space Coast, Melbourne is a growing and thriving community with small-town charm. This provides an excellent environment for young professionals, growing families and MFM practice growth. Melbourne is located about an hour south of the Kennedy Space Center and 1 ½ hours due east of Orlando and Disney World. The area provides a multitude of cultural and recreational activities including boating, fishing, golfing and 33 miles of unspoiled beaches. The Brevard Public School district has excellent college-preparatory magnet schools as well as private school options. The cost of living is affordable and there is no state income tax. Enjoy the relaxed beach lifestyle in this charming Floridian town.

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in an MFM Practice

Responsibilities
Pediatrix is seeking to add a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to our Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in Melbourne, FL.
- Growing, well-established Maternal Fetal Medicine practice will consider a WHNP or a CNM to support the solo practice MFM
- This practice is office based and consultative-only, 4 day work week with no delivery service
- Responsibilities include co-management of high-risk patients including those with diabetes, hypertension, history of pre-term labor, pre-eclampsia, twins (multiples), and congenital fetal anomalies
- The only MFM practice providing support to general OBGYN physicians in Brevard County
- Support the OB Hospitalist and Neonatology team at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, where there is a Level II NICU and 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage
- We enjoy a collaborative relationship with our OBGYN and Neonatology colleagues and hospital partner to provide outstanding perinatal care
- We anticipate adding another Health First facility, Viera Hospital, in fall 2023, when they open a delivery service at what will be a Level I center
- Our ideal candidate will have a Florida medical license

- Required- Masters Degree in Nursing
- Board certified WHNP
