We are looking for a part time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP with Women's Health experience is acceptable). This is filling a position at our office and will complement the existing two Nurse Practitioners. It could possibly turn into full time in the future.
Current national certification is a must due to Medicare billing requirements.
Days and times will be negotiable, some Saturdays might be an option in the future. Saturdays are approximately 9:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Salary/Pay will be competitive and negotiable.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
