Women's Clothing Boutique Sales Stylist - Hourly + Commission

Commissioned sales associate received hourly pay plus a % of their net sales.

We are looking for a Fashion Stylist/Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service and meet personal sales goals for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our clothing, styling, and trends. A positive attitude, energetic personality, love of fashion, and ablity to put together fully accessorized outfits for customers will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store happy, feeling beautiful and confident about their new outfits.

Working directly with a customer one on one, from the moment they walk in, to the moment they walk out: determining their needs/wants, building & accessorizing outfits for suggestions, accessing results in fitting room & suggesting other styles as needed.

Processing shipment (unboxing, hanging, steaming, security tagging, price tagging), entering new shipment into inventory, & merchandising it into walls and sales floor.

Creating captivating window displays.

Consistent availability is required. Saturday availability is required

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. styling, trends, coordinating pieces)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products
• Collect information from customer and use it to pull fully styled outfits options
• Add on accessories, bags, & shoes to customer purchases
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Work check out and register
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/current trends

Skills

• Proven sales experience in fashion retail outside of being a cashier
• Creative mindset & the ability to visualize pieces of clothing put together into outfits
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree
• BSc in Marketing Fashion Design/Merchandising or related field is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
