Wire Shop Material Clerk

Powercon Corp is a switchgear manufacturing company currently seeking a well-organized individual to join our team!

• Verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
• Assist with pulling items from inventory for projects
• Load and unload materials from trucks, must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Support Material Logistics for all areas of the Wire Shop department
• Organize and maintain multiple Wire Shop stocking locations to ensure easy access and accurate inventory
• Move materials between departments using pallet jacks and forklifts
• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom
• Keep accurate records of inventory
• Participate in inventory audits and assist in maintaining inventory control
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Solid computer skills, especially Excel spreadsheets, ERP systems, and reporting
• Previous experience in a stockroom, logistics, warehouse, or related field is preferred
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and consistent attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Inventory/Stockroom: 2 years (Preferred)
