This is a great entry level wine department position and resume builder for those new to wine and looking to break into the wine business. Upon successful completion, we will be happy to provide references.
Main responsibility: running wines from middle cellar (one flight down) to restaurant floor as per Floor Manager/as ordered by guests during service. Some restocking, wine label removal, preparing wine take-away bags as needed, decanting and bottle opening if needed. Important liaison between the floor and beverage department.
Hours: 6-8hr shifts, no more than 40 hrs/week: Nights and Weekends available.
Reports to: Floor Manager (during shift) and Beverage Director
