- Maintains the general organization and cleanliness of the wine cellar, including managing wine location numbers, and monitoring inventory.
- Fulfills requisition orders for the various F&B outlets within The Cellar at the Post Oak wine program.
- Ensures that wines are properly received from distributors, and that all products are correctly stocked.
- Monitors inventory levels within the Cellar to ensure that items may be properly reordered (where applicable), and that all Wine Directors are kept informed of 86ed items.
- Assists the Director of Beverage with routine inventory.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Support all Colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 35 lbs without assistance.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A sincere desire to provide the utmost in guest service
- Professional Grooming and Appearance
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail a must
- Basic computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays with strong schedule flexibility to accommodate needs of the operation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Sommelier Certification
- College Degree
- One to three years of restaurant experience
- TABC and Food Handler’s Certification a plus
