Wine Relocation Specialist

Seeking a customer service oriented, safe driver to join our delivery team. The right person for the position will be punctual, safety conscious, detail oriented, and able to follow directions as given. A go with the flow attitude is a must as this is a dynamic position within a dynamic industry. The territory runs from Virginia up into the Boston area, and out to eastern Ohio.

Job Details:

• Assist Facility Managers in their day to day duties with organizing the facility and incoming freights
• Organize and navigate the warehouse
• Pick outgoing orders and organize in van efficiently based on route
• Safely drive the delivery vehicles to customers
• Alert the customer of your arrival time and coordinate drop-off
• Meet scheduled customer delivery times
• Carefully unload products from the van by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures and proof of delivery
• Perform relocation jobs - packing, unpacking, and moving clients wine collections
• Perform pickups on behalf of wineries and members
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
• Travel is an essential funtion of the position, overtime hours possible

Qualifications:

● Must be 25 years of age or older to apply.

● Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be considered.

● Familiarity with the expected delivery area is a plus.

● Forklift certification/experience is a plus.

● Past experience in the wine industry is a plus.

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
• Work in a cellar temperature of 55°F for extended periods of time
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (20+ per shift) required

Clean Driving Record
Management/Sommelier experience not required but preferred
Must be able to lift and move multiple 40-50lb boxes on consecutive days
Looking for someone to start as soon as possible, for our spring season.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
