Wine Consultant | Tasting Room Associate

We are currently seeking a part time Wine Consultant / Tasting Associate to join the team Fermented Wine Boutique and Flight Club Tasting Room in Alpharetta, GA. This is a fast past job with the opportunity to grow for the right person. Willingness to work hard and learn fast a must!

Fermented is a Wine Retail Store that offers educational wine flights, glasses and tastings in the Flight Club Tasting Room. We focus on small family-owned wineries with a large selection of organic, biodynamic, and more naturally made wines.

Our primary focus is building relationships with our customers and community through a shared passion for quality wine. Customer service, teamwork and knowledge are the backbone to our business and we achieve our goals daily all while creating a fun, warm, and welcoming environment. Come be a part of our team!

Requirements/Skills

• Must be 21+
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able towork the majority of yourshift on your feet.
• Basic knowledge of winegrapes and regions and willingness to continue learning is a MUST - There will be a test during the interview process to determine your level of knowledge and this position requires you to learn at least 10 new wines per week.
• Restaurant experience preferred. Retail,customer service, and/or hospitality management experience highly encouraged.
• Must be great with people - this is a very service-focused position.
• Honest and hardworking team player with a positive attitude.
• Clear communication skills - training or presentation experience a plus.
• Able to maintain store safety and cleanliness.

Availability & Compensation

• Part Time, 15-20 hours/week.
• Evenings and weekend availability is a must.
• Open hours are 12-8 PM Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1-6 PM on Sundays, closed Mondays
• $12-15/hr base pay + bonus structure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
