Job Title: Windshield Installer

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Windshield Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of semi-truck windshields. The successful candidate must possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install and replace semi-truck windshields following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

· Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess the condition of existing windshields and identify potential issues before installation.

· Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to guarantee the well-being of both customers and team members during installation procedures.

· Utilize precise measurements and tools to ensure the correct fit and alignment of windshields, minimizing the risk of leaks, wind noise, or other installation-related issues.

· Communicate effectively with customers to provide information about the installation process, address any concerns, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

· Maintain accurate records of all installations, including documenting any pre-existing damages and obtaining customer signatures for completed work.

· Perform regular maintenance on installation tools and equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

· Collaborate with other team members, including technicians and customer service representatives, to streamline the installation process and provide comprehensive customer support.

· Other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proven experience as a Windshield Installer or similar role in the automotive industry preferred.

· Strong technical skills in windshield installation, including knowledge of the latest industry techniques and tools.

· Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
