Window Takeoff & Ordering Specialist

Rapidly growing, multimillion-dollar residential window and door company looking for a Production Assistant/Window and Door Takeoff and Ordering Specialist immediately. This position reports to our NW Florida Division Manager. We are looking for someone to grow in our organization.

Immediate responsibilities to include, but not be limited by:

• Performing plan takeoffs for multiple residential construction projects across Sarasota county and surrounding areas for product order placement and new project bidding
• Reviewing window sizes, quantities, and attributes for accuracy
• Creating master templates and individual lot specific workbooks housing opening schedules, material ship tickets, and other information
• Adjusting takeoffs for revisions and pricing adjustments
• Placing orders with window and door manufacturers using internet-based platforms
• Creating folders for organization of lot specific plans, data sheets, etc.
• Working closely with NW Florida Division Manager and cross-training for support in other initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with plans/blueprints, window and glass door sizes/configurations highly desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software a MUST
• Attention to detail, taking initiative, and taking responsibility for work
• Previous experience with PGT and CGI family of products and systems a plus
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Team player, adaptable and teachable, and must also be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Punctuality and flexibility

Hours are M-F, 8-10 hours/day, in-person
