Window Cleaning Technician

Position meets in west Lehi, though this may be posted to multiple locations for better reach. For those living south of Lehi, teams take turns carpooling from commuter lots in Provo / Orem area.

Starting pay is $17/hr, plus Tips.

Day Shift: Begins around 7 to 7:30am, availability needed for as late as 6pm, often finish earlier.

This is a Window cleaning position where you’ll clean windows at residential sites, commercial sites, and new-construction sites, including interior and exterior windows. In this position you will be trained and expected to use ladders up to 32 feet in height, but most work is performed at ground level.

Crews typically range in size of 2-3 individuals, with some solo work possible once experienced. We meet at one location (Lehi) every day, and go out from that location in company vehicles to perform our work throughout the Wasatch region. All equipment and cleaning supplies are provided. All drive time is paid.

Tips: Onsite technicians share in all cash tips or digitally paid tips evenly. We do multiple types of Window Cleaning, some of which doesn't involve a residential customer, so tips may not apply.

Opportunities for raises to hourly pay are available depending on rate of progress and speed. This is a fast-paced work environment where consistent hustle and hard work are expected and valued.

Position Qualifications:

• No experience necessary to start, though experience can provide a faster path to raises or advancement
• Must be smoke-free, crime-free, drug-free - able to pass a background check, drug test, and nicotine test
• Willing to work outdoors and get dirty, in all weather and all seasons
• Driver's License required
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. continuously, work indoors & outdoors all weather all seasons
• Ability to learn new skills, techniques, work processes
• Willingness to embrace occasional ladder work
• Reliably able to meet at our Lehi location each day
• Weigh under 250 lbs. (ladder weight rating)
• Able to reach above head, bend, lift, be detailed with hands, etc.
• Able to walk on roofs as needed
• Able to greet customers and provide friendly service

• Begin work around 7 to 7:30am and work until the day's jobs are done (we don't work past sunset and will usually get off by 6pm, usually earlier. Days are typically 6 to 10 hours).

Do you have prior cleaning or related work experience? This is not required, but a plus. We find that if you have experience with janitorial, house cleaning, janitor duties, construction cleanup, restaurant service, or as an office cleaner, carpet cleaner, commercial cleaner, power washer, window cleaner, or other similar industries, then you will likely excel here. Some cleaners are optionally cross-trained in power washing or additional Window Cleaning tasks.

Minimum 5 month commitment - signed with other employment agreements and policy handbooks- some pay contingent on honoring the agreement.
