Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) SMC group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a technical career as a Windchill PLM Administrator.
As a Windchill PLM bundle Administrator you'll be in a technical, hands-on role, responsible for the administration of a collaborative Computer-Aided Design (CAD) System, using Parametric Technologies Corporation (PTC) Windchill, PTC Thingworx, PTC Mathcad, PTC Simulate, and PTC CREO products including other CAD program data and design documents managed by Windchill.
Work in a dynamic environment collaborating with the Project Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering departments. Secondary responsibilities may include developing work flows for engineering processes, record document management and repository and the project management process.
Responsibilities Include:
- Procurement, licensing, and functionality of all SMC engineering design software (conversant and proficient)
- Development and maintenance of CAD standards,
- Integration of Engineering 3D Models into Windchill PDM link
- Act in the role of a Windchill Power user, conversant and proficient with CAD/Creo software and understand the connectivity between Windchill and Creo
- Providing business administration functions.
- Recommending and initiating equipment replacements/installations to reduce maintenance costs, improve reliability, increase capacity, increase capability, and replace old equipment.
As a CADD Administrator, you'll be in a technical, hands-on role, responsible for the administration of nationwide collaborative Computer-Aided Design Drafting (CADD) System, using Parametric Technologies Corporation (PTC) Windchill, PTC Thingworx, PTC Mathcad, PTC Simulate, and PTC CREO products.
Minimum Requirements:
- Level 0200: BS 2 years relevant experience, MS 1-year relevant experience. Associates degree plus 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of BS or MS degree is acceptable.
- Level 0300: BS 5 years relevant experience, MS 3 years relevant experience. Associates degree plus 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of BS or MS degree is acceptable.
- A minimum of two years of Windchill PLM and Creo CAD software experience is required.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

- PR0200 - Salary Grade - 190 ($70,680- $116,616) OR PR0300 - Salary Grade - 210 ($93,492 - $154,212)
