Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Asset Management functions associated with each of their respective sites and ensure on time delivery of the contractual obligations in alignment with the site respective Asset Management Agreement
- Develop market knowledge, becoming the resident expert in how the respective project’s electricity market is structured and how to optimize assets within that market, including real time and day ahead participation, REC sales, and ancillary product sales.
- Monitor the facility, ensure operations are within regulatory (Energy and Environmental) guidelines, and ensure on-time delivery of compliance reporting.
- Monitor site operations and provide timely feedback to site teams and Management on conditions affecting the ability of the business to hit its objectives.
- Perform financial reviews, budgeting, and invoice approval as required.
- Coordinate outages with the respective site teams and transmission providers using established regulatory guidelines.
- Perform service provider (Wind Turbines, electrical balance of plant, and met towers) management and contract administration for their respective sites.
- Provide proactive landowner communications and quick dispute resolutions for issues highlighted by the landowner.
- Evaluate qualified contractors and vendors, recommend contract award, schedule, coordinate and review work orders.
- Produce daily, monthly, annual, and other internal reports as needed.
- Produce owner and investor reporting as required under the Asset Management Agreement.
- Point of contact for utility transmission owner and regional transmission operator as it relates to communications for project operations
- Perform optimization of the wind farm through routine monitoring and performance analysis of the project.
