· Provide ALS and BLS medical support on wildland fire incidents.
· Safely operate Injury Care vehicles.
· Complete incident, company, and patient paperwork accurately and efficiently
· Ability to navigate in the backcountry.
· Maintain and secure narcotics and narcotic paperwork.
· Liaise with incident command staff, other agency personnel, and local fire assets in a courteous and professional manner.
· Perform occasional maintenance on Injury Care equipment including vehicles and line gear.
· Perform other work-related duties as directed by Wildland Manager and/or fire command staff as the situation requires.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All EMPF Candidates:
· Must pass skills + physical fitness test
OR
· Another state paramedic license AND NREMT certification
· Current BLS and ACLS certification
· Recommended to have NREMT certification at their current level of practice.
· Have at least one-year verifiable working experience at their current level of practice
· State driver's license without restrictions
· S-130, S-190, L-180 online courses completed.
· ICS 100, 200, 700 online courses completed.
· Previous wildland experience preferred.
All EMPF Hires:
· Full daily rates paid from travel to/from fire and the Injury Care headquarters in Boise, ID
· Shifts will be a minimum of 16 hours; deployments should be considered 21 days.
· Uniform/PPE, line gear, medications, tool, and radios provided (wildland boots are not provided)

Pay: $650.00 - $700.00 per day
