Must be a current or former participant in the WIC program (Women, Infants and Children)
- Provide peer counseling and support, mother to mother support and encouragement to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. This position is 20 hours or less a week, and you will be covering Scott, Harrison and Nicholas counties. Cell phone stipend of $15 is provided monthly.
To be eligible for this position, you must:
- Be a current or past WIC client
- Have breastfed an infant for 6 months or longer
- Have reliable transportation, and
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not mandated.
This position requires a flexible schedule and ability to work in Scott, Harrison, and Nicholas Counties. Employees may be asked to work evening and weekends and may not have a set schedule every week.
This position requires reliable transportation and auto insurance. It may require travel between WEDCO's three counties.
Candidates may be subject to background checks and drug screening upon hire.
