General Information:
Candidate MUST HAVE 1 year of experience in Home Health; will consider FTT
Patient Types:
Patients typically have multiple comorbidities and can include (but not limited to): CHF, COPD, pneumonia, cancer, dementia, kidney disease, hypertension, fall, fracture, infections, cellulitis, post-surgical, wound care, ostomy care, labs, IV infusion, etc.
Patient Ratios: 20-30 patients
Required Certifications: BLS
Skills required: Wound care, including wound vacs, pleural drains, ostomy care; peripheral blood draws, central line care, IV administration through multiple devices including elastomeric and IV pumps, excellent assessment skills, experience with computer documentation
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC/Computer charting
Laptop
PT/INR machine in some areas
IV pumps: Sapphire
Floating: If yes, where?
To potential neighboring team, but typically not
Scrub Color: any color
Other: MUST be able to provide own transportation to all patient visits
