Position Overview:
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Review loan files for accuracy and compliance prior to closing.
- Prepare and approve the Closing Disclosure
- Prepare all closing documents in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the Broker, Account Executive, and settlement agent to schedule closing date and time.
- Coordinate with various departments to reconcile any file defects.
- Calculate loan interest, principal payment, escrow fees, and closing costs prior to closing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Highly detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Works well with little direction
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries
- Understanding of legal documents
- Knowledge of residential closing conditions
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of mortgage closing experience required.
- Wholesale Closing experience required.
- Experience with Encompass preferred.
- Complete understanding of TRID guidelines
Education / Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment.
- Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
- Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
- Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires sitting, bending.
- Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
- Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
- Minimal travel <5%.

Compensation range: $60,000 - $70,000
