As a part-time Social Media Intern, you'll be an integral part of our marketing efforts, responsible for researching trends, creating engaging content, and assisting in the production of multimedia materials for our SOCIAL MEDIA platforms. What You'll Do:
- Research and analyze SOCIAL MEDIA trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies.
- Assist in developing content calendars and drafting engaging posts across various SOCIAL MEDIA platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for content and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create multimedia content, including photos, videos, and graphics.
- Support fieldwork by filming, capturing events, and creating relevant content outside of the office environment.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering meaningful interactions.
What You'll Bring:
- Current student attending Virginia Commonwealth University or the University of Richmond enrolled in a relevant course of study (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, etc.).
- Strong understanding of major SOCIAL MEDIA platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools and editing software.
